AMAZING!!! The brisket was absolutely delicious. And the people are so kind! This place is better than any bbq I’ve ever been. I will definitely be back. I managed to take a picture before I finished it all.

Since my family was tied up with other activities, I decided to try out Ben's for my solo birthday lunch. I didn't pre-order so I was a first time walk up. Ordered the ribs and a side of beans. Ben (I assume) stepped out to deliver the order himself and even added a free coleslaw side because I had to wait a few minutes to order because of a pick up crowd. Had a brief but enjoyable conversation about Purdue and Louisville sports. The ribs were the best I've ever had - FABULOUS! Didn't require any sauce whatsoever. I'll be back but may not wait for my next birthday!

I got a pound each of brisket and pulled pork, the whole drive home I was fighting the urge to reach in and grab some. It was the best BBQ I think I've ever had. The brisket was melt in your mouth tender and tasted greasy. The pulled pork was seasoned amazingly and had the perfect level of moisture. And while they give you some tasty sauce to eat with your meal, it is so far from necessary because the meat stands on it's own so well. I will be visiting again and recommend anyone who can do so as well, but get there early because it sells out quick.

I drooled all the way home after purchasing Ben’s 1pound brisket! But when I got home it was even better! I put the moist, tender brisket on a Kings Hawaiian artisan roll along with some Traeger sweet apricot BBQ sauce. Oh My God! It was better than sex! The brisket was cooked to absolute perfection! Beautiful bark, smoke ring, so tender it broke apart using a fork! Can’t wait to do it again. All the reviews are spot on! The owner mingles with the crowds outside and has a great personality.

Need to say this first, order online or be early, definitely be patient. We're talking low and slo' food, not fast food chain. They have a limited amount of food to serve, once it's gone, you're out of luck. So, set your expectations accordingly, order ahead, and you'll avoid missing out and being disappointed. What you really need to know tho...BBQ and staff are authentic. If you know anything about BBQ, you can see they start with great meat cuts, and their personality comes through in the rubs and sauces. Sauce is where it should be (on the side) and isn't there to hide anything. BBQ should be authentic, this is it.

Amazing! We found Ben's this morning. I am not sure what my expectation was, but I was beyond impressed with the food. I have spent a lot of time living in some of the best BBQ belts in the country and was used to being a little disappointed with the BBQ in central Indiana. Not anymore. The pork belly sammich and the brisket were spectacular. I am already looking forward to my next stop there. The staff is as pleasant as there is, and you'll probably meet Ben. A quick conversation about pheasant and will be able tell they love what they do. Actually, you can taste it.

Ben continually out performs every prior visit I have made here! Every time I go, it just gets better. Even if you aren’t a turkey fan, Ben’s will wreck you for any other turkey you’ve ever had. The Brisket is another favorite of our family, the flavor is spectacular, it falls apart as you pick it up - the ring is 100% ON POINT! The burbon buttermilk pies are amazing, and taste like something your grandma would’ve made! There is absolutely NOTHING on the menu that is not amazing!! Ben is open limited hours, because he refuses to sacrifice quality for quantity. This is an approach more business should take! I would recommend Ben’s to ANYONE that likes BBQ. No sauces necessary! Big thanks to Ben - my family was excited to have your food, and you did not disappoint!! Rich
